The Coventry Business Charter has two objectives:
- To recognise businesses and other organisations for their contribution to the local economy
- To encourage Charter recipients to pledge to undertake new activities in support of the community we share
Businesses simply select what they want to do by looking at sample activities and pledge themselves to carry out their chosen activities.
In return, businesses will receive a Charter certificate they can display to show their commitment to social responsibility. They will also be given access to networking opportunities with other like-minded companies, as well as enjoying numerous other benefits that will enhance their business.
